Practitioners

Mary (PeiHua) – RMT

Mary came to Canada in 2009 and has since been a very passionate and active member in the Health & Wellness Community all across the GTA. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and graduated from a Medical Program from Everest College in 2014. After completing those programs, she volunteered at the Oakville Hospital where she worked in the Wellness Clinic and has been working in the Health & Wellness Field for over 7 years. Mary continued her studies with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine & Pharmacology and graduated from the Massage Therapy Program in 2019 where she then became a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Mary specializes in aiding those clients suffering from: neck and shoulder tension, frozen shoulder, lower back pain, tension headaches, tendonitis, stress and fascial restriction using Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Therapy. Mary keeps her passion for Massage Therapy by always putting her clients first, providing combined effective physiological and psychological treatments, being extremely caring and giving. Mary offers the following services: Swedish Massage, Prenatal Massage, Aromatherapy, Couples Massage, Hand & Arm Massage, Foot & Leg Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Indian Scalp Massage, Body Scrubs, Ultimate Body Nourishment Treatments, Lymphatic Drainage and TuiNa Massage Therapy. In her spare time she enjoys doing Yoga, skiing, swimming, gardening, volunteering in hospitals and clinics, and playing with her dogs and children.

Mamiko – RMT

Born & raised in Japan, Mamiko was very active, playing competitive basketball & swimming on swimming teams. After she moved to Canada in 2006, Mamiko worked with seniors & people with disabilities. She decided to pursue a career as a Massage Therapist to expand her repertoire in helping others. She enjoys making people happy, & witnessing that in person.

Here at Body & Soul the therapies that Mamiko offers are: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Celluma & Joint Mobilization. With these tools she is able to remove soft tissue restrictions, reduce pain, improve athletic performance & general relaxation. She is a strong believer that an important part of any therapeutic treatment is relaxation. “I always listen to clients’ concerns – even very little details, to create a treatment plan to best meet their needs.” Mamiko shares.

Her favourite mode of relaxation in addition to massage, is walking in the park with her dog. Mamiko also finds pleasure in the small things – morning coffee, reading, cooking, crafting. Saying goodbye to things that she owned for many years to declutter her mind & create more space in her brain. This yields a very relaxing reward for Mamiko. She always tries to achieve inner peace to provide the best massage care to her clients. Mamiko is an honors graduate of ICT Kikkawa College in 2012, & is a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

Krzysztof – RMT

Krzysztof is a registered massage therapist with over 20 years of extensive experience in both private and public settings. Krzys has earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Physical Education in Poland as well as pursuing massage therapy education in Canada which later led him to become a Registered Massage Therapist.

At Body & Soul, Krzys offers: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, Pregnancy Massage, Foot & Leg Massage/Hand & Arm Massage, and Lymphatic Drainage Massage Therapies. He also has many qualifications such as a diploma in Reflexology as well as having certifications in Soft Tissue Release, Schweitzer’s Deep Tissue Massage, and manual Lymphatic Drainage. These techniques learned were specifically designed to enhance the removal of swelling from both the legs and the arms. Krzys has also taken courses in Orthopaedic Massage for Complicated shoulder conditions and Double Crush Phenomenon/Pelvic Stabilization. To add to that, he has also done extensive volunteer work between 1986 to present times, with many different organizations such as volunteering as a Registered Massage Therapist with the Canadian, Australian and New Zealand National Lacrosse teams during the World Championship of Lacrosse.

Veronica – RMT

Meet our Registered Massage Therapist Veronica.  4 years of experience working as a physiotherapy assistant and personal trainer led her to develop a passion with teaching patients remedial exercise and interest in human anatomy.

Veronica graduated from Kikkawa School of Massage Therapy.  She has been successful in helping patients achieve long term relief of pain symptoms by using Soft Tissue Manipulation, Muscle Energy Techniques, Swedish Techniques, Trigger Point Release, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Drainage,  Deep Tissue Massage, Joint Mobilizations, Celluma, Aromatherapy, Couples Massage, Indian Scalp Massage, Pregnancy Massage, and Cupping.

As a skilled practitioner, she specializes in many conditions such as low back pain, arthritis, whip/MVA, carpal tunnel syndrome, sports-related injuries , tendonitis, neck and should tension, post injury rehabilitation, and pre and post natal.  Veronica strongly believes manual therapy is key to preventing injury as well stimulating the parasympathetic system to help relieve stress while maintaining a holistic approach to full body wellness.

Iwona – RMT

In 1999, Iwona graduated from a Massage Therapy program at Kikkawa College and managed her own full-time private practice until 2008 when she has decided to enter a Paramedic Program at Humber College. She graduated in 2010 with a diploma in Paramedicine with Honours. The combination of alternative and conventional medicine knowledge allows her to make informed decision about the safety and effectiveness of a variety of treatments she performs.

Iwona has always continued her professional development in order to assist her patients with their individual needs. She is certified in: Craniosacral Therapy, Advanced Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, Cupping Massage and is current in Standard/Emergency First Aid and HCP-CPR/AED procedures.

In 2019, Iwona completed a 4-year program at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and graduated with the Master in Practice Diploma of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences. She is an active member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association. It is Iwona’s mission to help her patients return to/achieve their optimal health. She strongly believes that a human body has an innate ability to heal itself when structure (anatomy) and function (physiology) work in perfect harmony (homeostasis). Her role is to facilitate that balanced relationship.

Outside her professional obligations, Iwona enjoys spending time outdoors, loves kayaking and camping with her family.

Sharon – RMT

Sharon has had over 20 years of experience in health and wellness environments and graduated from Wellspring Massage College in 2015 where she became a Registered Massage Therapist by the CMTO. Sharon is a member of the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario (RMTAO) and has professional liability insurance with them.

Sharon’s ability to incorporate her knowledge of Chinese Medicine and Western Massage Therapy into each and every service makes her an ideal therapist for someone looking for deep relief. Sharon works closely with releasing trigger points of muscles, tendons and ligaments as well as finding every node and knot strand to break down tension and relieve pain. The services that Sharon offers with us here at Body & Soul are Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, Foot & Leg Massage, Hand & Arm Massage, Reflexology and Indian Scalp Massage. However, Sharon’s areas of expertise include Shiatsu, TuiNa, GuaSha, Acupuncture, Thai Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Ear Massage, Pre and Post Natal Massage, Hot Stone, and Cupping.

Sharon works closely by applying pressure to points of energy within the body to break down blockage while promoting energy flow through the meridians which are the life-energy paths known as “qi” (pronounced “chi”). Sharon’s goal with each service is to provide exceptional detail into tailoring a treatment plan specifically suited to each client’s needs.

Ewa -RMT

Ewa graduated from ICT Kikkawa College of Massage Therapy, & has been a registered & active member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since 1995.  Ewa has been practicing at Body & Soul Massage Therapy since 2013, & specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue/Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone Therapy, Indian Scalp Massage, Celluma, Foot & Leg Massage, Hand & Arm Massage.   Ewa’s interests stem from everything nature – she enjoys travelling, sailing, hiking, biking, & gardening. Ewa is fascinated with the healing power of nature, & its’ effects on the human body.

Lana – RMT

Svitlana, who goes by Lana, has been a Massage Therapist at Body & Soul since 2018. She graduated from Kikkawa College, & specializes in: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Celluma, Couples Massage, Hand & Arm Massage, Foot & Leg Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Reflexology, Hot Stone Massage & Indian Scalp Massage. Svitlana appreciates Massage Therapy for the many benefits it offers, including the ability to reduce pain, stress, fascial & muscular tensions, & the education of physical exercises to improve rehabilitation.

Kinga – RMT

Kinga was born and raised in Poland and came to Canada in 2018.She graduated from the Royal Canadian College in 2019 and is a Registered Massage Therapist through the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Kinga has been working in the Health & Wellness fields for over 4 years; 2 of which were spent in the Nursing field and 2 in the Massage Therapy field.She has always had a passion to help people and a great interest in natural healing specializing in Myofascial Release Techniques as well as Trigger Point Therapy. Kinga offers Cupping as an Add-On and also offers Indian Scalp Massages and Hot Stone Therapy which are 2 of our speciality treatments.   She also offers Swedish & Deep Tissue Massage, Aromatherapy, Foot & Leg Massage, Hand & Arm Massage, as well as Preganany Massage.  Kinga specializes in treating those with headaches, neck pain, lower back dysfunction and general pain and is also well-versed in the practice of massage for relaxation and rejuvenation. She is very passionate about her practice and strives to provide her clients with prolonged relief of their pain or discomfort by providing tips and tricks to do at home.In her spare time she enjoys hiking, sailing, travelling and cooking.

Pei – RMT

Pei comes from a family with three generations in the medical field. Her Grandpa is a Chinese Doctor. Her Mother is a Western Doctor. Since she was a little girl, Pei has always been advised to study within the healthcare field for two reasons. Firstly, because it is a family field, & secondly, because it will provide a means to help others with their health concerns. 

Pei has been working in this field for over 10 years, & her clients love her treatments & performance. Besides her general therapeutic profession, she specializes in deep tissue, particularly of the cervical & lumbar areas. She also offers the following services: Aromatherapy,  Foot & Leg Massage, Hand & Arm Massage, Indian Scalp, Pregnancy Massage, and Swedish Massage.

With the state of the art facility of Body & Soul, Pei is able to help her clients by addressing either their pain, or simply to facilitate wellbeing & general health.

Katerina – RMT

Katerina graduated from Kikkawa College of Massage Therapy in 2012 and is licensed as a Registered Massage Therapist of Ontario. She became a part of the Body & Soul Massage Therapy team in 2014. She is passionate about relieving pain and stress for her clients. Her treatments are tailored to achieve the most during every massage session. She is experienced in using general Swedish massage techniques, Deep Tissue Release techniques, Aromatherapy, Pregnancy Massage, Foot & Leg Massage, Hand & Arm Massage, Myofascial Release,Trigger Point Therapy and specialized massage techniques to address tissue disorders. Katerina advocates the benefits of relaxation in helping to boost the body’s recovery from the stress of physical activity. Her approach focuses on providing effective therapeutic treatment without removing the relaxation experience. Her main priority is client care and happiness. She believes that the combination of nutrition, exercise and soft tissue release through massage therapy, are integral aspects for maintenance of optimal health and balance to the body and mind

Lisa (Lixia) – RMT

Born and raised in China, Lixia came to Canada in 2004 and to pursue Massage Therapy at the Royal Institute of Science and Management where she became a Registered Massage Therapist in 2010 with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Lixia has been working in the Health & Wellness Industry for 12 years and is passionate about providing the best assessment and treatment for her clients by respecting her clients at all times, and bringing more benefits by lessening the risks and side effects from the massage treatment. Lixia specializes in treating those who suffer from injuries and concerns such as: stiff neck, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, headaches, sciatic nerve pain, carpal tunnel syndrome and back pain by using Trigger Point Release, Pressure Point Release, Effleurage (light/deep stroking) and Joint Play. She offers Swedish, Deep Tissue & Prenatal Massage, Aromatherapy, Celluma, Foot & Leg Massage, Hand & Arm Massage, is certified in Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Cupping, GuaSha & Skin Scraping and enjoys stretching, Yoga, Tai Chi and playing badminton in her spare time.

Jennifer (Si Ying) – RMT

Jennifer has graduated from the Royal Institute of Science & Management Campus and has been registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since 2015.

Jennifer is a well-rounded practitioner who likes to treat all ages using a wide range of techniques including Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Celluma, Aromatherapy, Couples Massage, Pregnancy Massage & Hot Stone Massage.    Her specialty is treatment for clients experiencing low back pain, sciatica and frozen shoulder.

Tina (Ting) – RMT

Before Tina graduated from Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy in 2019, she has been working as a Thai holistic practitioner for more than 4 years. She obtained her Master level Thai massage license in Thailand and added the knowledge and skills in modern Swedish massage.

Tina offers here at Body & Soul: Swedish, Deep Tissue & Hot-Stone Massage, Celluma, Aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, joint mobilizations, PNF stretching, sports massage and myofascial techniques. She also specializes in Thai massage.

Amy (Feng)- RMT

Amy was born and raised in Fujian, China, where she started off with her education. She learned acupuncture in 2005 and has spent over 15 years in health and wellness environments. On top of her 15 years of experience, Amy graduated from the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy in 2018 and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).

She is very passionate about relieving pain and stress from her clients by always listening to their concerns to create personalized treatment plans to meet their goals and needs. She believes that she can treat her clients through physical healing to improve their health to feel better overall.

Amy specializes in frozen shoulder, sciatica, back pain and she also works closely with releasing trigger points within the muscle. It is important for Amy to find each and every node, and knot strand, to break down tension and relieve pain. At Body & Soul, Amy provides Hot Stone Treatments, Aromatherapy, Foot & Leg Massage, Hand & Arm Massage, Acupuncture, Prenatal Massages, as well as Swedish & Deep Tissue Massages .

In her spare time, she enjoys going for long hikes in the woods and she enjoys the occasional run. Given the opportunity she would love to travel more and see the rest of the world.

Lilibeth – RMT

Lilibeth is a Registered Massage Therapist at Body & Soul Massage Therapy, and registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.  Lilibeth knows that Massage Therapy can help patients alleviate their pain, decrease muscular tension, and optimize their level of health & wellness. Helping people reduce their discomfort & improve their function is a passion for Lilibeth.  Lilibeth completed her Massage Therapy Diploma from Sutherland Chan School & Clinic in 2010.

Lilibeth also works as a Physiotherapist in Toronto.  She actively assists students at the Ontario Bridging Program for Internationally Educated Physiotherapists (OIEPB) at the University of Toronto and was an Alumni of the OIEPB.

Lilibeth’s approach to restore health & balance of soft tissues, via massage techniques, neuromuscular approaches, active release techniques, joint mobilization, exercise prescription, & physiotherapy based techniques.  She also offers Aromatherapy, Swedish & Deep Tissue Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Couples Massage, Hand & Arm Massage, and Foot & Leg Massage.

Lilibeth firmly believes in continual education to help improve her knowledge, skills, and to provide effective care.

Olena – RMT

Olena is a Registered Massage Therapist who has been with Body & Soul since 2016. She graduated from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy, has an Honours degree in Kinesiology from York University, is a member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario, & likes to keep up with the latest research in Massage Therapy.

Olena uses her knowledge of the human body along with her hands-on skills to successfully treat a wide range of conditions including: tension headaches, tendinopathies, myofascial pain syndromes, sports injuries and many other common soft tissue & joint dysfunctions. She has a special interest in pregnancy through to postpartum, as well as using a holistic approach to treating the person as a whole to restore optimal function. Olena is a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

Marija – RMT

Marija is an honours graduate of Kikkawa College, & has over 25 years of experience. In that time, Marija has worked in various settings from multidisciplinary clinics to spas, including her private practice for over 10 years. Marija has had various areas of treatment focus, including: relaxation, sports massage, pre & postnatal care, repetitive stress injuries, acute & chronic pain treatments. She has treated these conditions across a wide range of ages & stages of clients’ lives. Marija offers the following therapies: Celluma, Aromatherapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Hand & Arm, Foot & Leg, Pregnancy Massage, and Swedish Massage. Marija enjoys the work she does, & her clients. She has come to see her clients as the greatest source of her learning more about health & wellness.

Tetiana – RMT

Tetiana was born in Ukraine. She received her Medical Diploma with Honours from 2000-2004, then successfully graduated from the National Medical University by O.O. Bogomoltsa in Kyiv (Medical Diploma with honors) from 2004-2010. Tetiana continued studying in Shupica National Academy (Doctor Gynecologist-Obstetrician with honours) 2010-2013. In 2014, she moved to Canada & graduated from ICT Kikkawa College as a Registered Massage Therapist.

Tetiana’s speciality interests are: Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Prenatal Massage, Celluma, Aromatherapy, Couples Massage, Hand & Arm Massage, Foot & Leg Massage, Peripheral Joint Mobilization, Myofascial Trigger Point Release, General Swedish Massage, Indian Scalp Massage, Hot Stone Massage, & Cupping.

Rosemarie – RMT

Rosemarie Del Rosario graduated from Wellsprings College of Massage Therapy & Esthetics, & is an active member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Rose is committed to sharing her passion for health & wellbeing with others. She is a compassionate person who believes in the healing power of touch, & enjoys the challenge of being a part of her clients’ healing process. Rose specializes in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Aromatherapy, Couples Massage, Foot & Leg Massage, Hand & Arm Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Joint Mobilization, pain & stress management, reducing anxiety & depression, remedial exercises, & hydrotherapy techniques. Rose earned a diploma as a Physiotherapist Assistant in 2005, where she used modalities including Ultrasound, hydrotherapy, & TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation). She also participated in customer service administration, including billing to different EHC & MVA clients.

Yurij – Massage Therapist

Yuriy obtained his Massage Therapy Diploma through the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy, & is a practicing member of the Canadian College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Yuriy focuses on Swedish, Deep Tissue & Trigger Point techniques, which assist in addressing a variety of health concerns, as well as Celluma, Aromatherapy, Couples Massage, Foot & Leg Massage , Hand & Arm Massage, Indian Scalp Massage, and Pregnancy Massage. Yuriy has extensive experience in treating a variety of ailments, ranging from sports injuries to overuse injuries (repetitive strain injuries), to headaches, fibromyalgia, myofascial pain syndromes, arthritis, lymphatic drainage as well as general relaxation treatments.
